From the Pioneers of Piezo Shockwave Therapy: One platform with multiple therapy sources for case-specific treatments on animals of various shapes and sizes.

PiezoWave2T VET is a focused, non-invasive shockwave system that supports tissue healing, relieves pain, and gives clinicians precise control over every session. Multiple therapy sources with adjustable penetration depths from 0–172 mm and a wide energy range from 0–0.8 mJ/mm² provide treatment options for equine, small animal, farm animal, exotic, and zoo patients. Quiet, efficient, and built for the long run.

The PiezoWave2T VET is engineered to deliver highly precise, focused energy at multiple depths with exceptional consistency and has a wide range of energy output. This level of control allows veterinarians to tailor treatments to the specific tissue and pathology. Built for long-term durability, each therapy source delivers over 5 million pulses, making PiezoWave2T VET shockwave an economical choice with low ongoing costs and dependable performance. The result is a smarter, more targeted approach to shockwave therapy that enhances clinical confidence, improves patient comfort, and drives better outcomes. The PiezoWave2T VET supports the full musculoskeletal caseload for equine and small animal practices: From sport horses and senior dogs to farm, zoo, and exotic.

Precisely targeted therapy through direct focusing

The shockwave forms inside the tissue, not at the skin. Reaches deep structures precisely.

Unique, one of a kind linear focused therapy source

A linear high volume focal zone provides effective treatment for large areas of muscle and fascia.

Our longevity guarantee:
Five million pulses per source

No regular refurbishing required. Operating cost is effectively zero.

Mobile setup at 30 lbs. Runs from a soft travel bag, plugs into standard outlets, no cart.

Therapy Sources

PiezoWave2T VET accommodates multiple veterinary therapy sources. The three most commonly used veterinary therapy sources are F7G3, FB10G6, and FBL10x5G2. Therapy sources are purchased individually and can be included with the initial system or added later. Source selection is based on patient population and practice caseload. All therapy sources last for at least 5 million pulses. ELvation is the only company to offer piezo therapy sources with dual-layer piezoceramic elements, such as the FB10G6 and FBL10x5G2.

Single-Layer

Double-Layer

F7G3

Our most compact therapy source.

F7G3 is the primary therapy source for small animal treatments. It provides a compact focal zone with energy up to 0.4 mJ/mm² and seven central penetration depths from 0–30 mm. It provides sufficient depth for joints and soft tissue in canine patients of all sizes, while remaining small enough for cats and teacup-sized dogs.

Double-Layer

FB10G6

Double-layer technology for deep reach.

FB10G6 is an equine therapy source commonly used in equine sports medicine. It provides a focal zone with energy up to 0.72 mJ/mm² and seven central penetration depths up to 60 mm, supported by a double layer of piezoceramic elements. This therapy source is variable enough to treat joints, distal limb tendons and ligaments, and deeper muscle targets of the caudal cervical and sacral regions.

FBL10x5G2

Linear focus for extended treatment area.

FBL10x5G2 uses a unique geometry of double-layered piezoceramic elements to provide a 5 cm broad linear focal zone ideal for treating larger tissue volumes. It has energy up to 0.16 mJ/mm² and a maximum central penetration depth of 20 mm. In small animal care, it is commonly used for paraspinal muscles, larger muscle bodies, trigger points, and fascia. In equine care, it is often used for suspensory branches, SDFT injuries, as well as superficial muscle and fascia.

Gel Pads

With Piezowave2T VET’s site-specific focused energy, gel pads are used to apply energy at the correct depth of targeted tissue.

It is best to use a combination of manual palpations and diagnostic imaging to determine the area of damaged tissue, the depth of penetration required to reach it, and the optimal angle of entry for the therapy source. If imaging is not possible, the correct stand-off gel pad can be chosen based on knowledge of the anatomy, and the ability of the PiezoWave2T VET to scan for and flare pain points that are identified by the patient’s bio feedback. When treating different anatomical structures in one session, it may be necessary to use multiple different gel pads.

Equine Care

Equine practice runs at the barn, on the truck, between competition windows. PiezoWave2T VET was built for that pace. Deep tissue reach where radial systems stop, sedation-free sessions even on horses mid-season, and a 30-lb mobile setup that runs from a soft travel bag. The way equine work actually happens.

Small Animal Care

In rehab, the tool that works is the one your patient lets you use. The PiezoWave2T VET is quiet enough for sensitive cats to stay on the table, fine-tuned enough for the senior dog who’s already nervous, and predictable enough that owners stop dreading the appointment. Most patients walk back through the door for the next session, and the one after that.
